Treasure of Galapagos

It’s fitting that a world treasure like the Galapagos Islands would reveal riches both expected and surprising. You already know, for instance, that Las Islas Encantadas are an utterly unique, natural masterpiece. You’ve read about the islands’ wildlife: so unafraid of humans, so intensely colored and so bewitchingly confounding—flightless birds, marine iguanas and crabs that look as if they escaped from an ultimate, 152-crayon Crayola box.

Once you arrive in the islands, though, subtler charms astonish you. You didn’t know there were so many different topographies here, from massive shield volcanoes to tiny islets of rock with exquisitely lonely beaches. You didn’t think that snorkeling with sea lions could be such pure fun. And you didn’t realize that your choice of boat could have such an impact on your adventure.

Choosing the Treasure of Galapagos motor yacht for your explorations into this prized place means the time you spend at sea will be just as private and intimate as your time on land. This 101-foot, stable, first-class motor catamaran carries 16 passengers in nine cabins. On the upper deck, there are four, inviting, 215-square-foot, twin staterooms, two of which have queen-size beds. All have private balconies, bathrooms, sitting areas, soft carpeting and ample storage spaces.

Four additional twin cabins are on the main deck, along with an elegant and double-size (430-square-foot) master suite that can optionally be used as a triple accommodation. The suite has separate living and sleeping quarters, seven bright windows and two private balconies—one on each side of the vessel.

On the top sundeck, you’ll find a solarium, a shaded outside bar and a relaxing Jacuzzi. A shaded terrace and barbecue grill are located on the upper deck. The interior of the main deck contains an air-conditioned lounge, bar and dining room.

The ship’s professional cook will make sure your meals are healthy and delicious: substantial breakfasts; mouthwatering, warm lunches; and dinners that feature local and international dishes, with at least two entree choices. Snacks and fresh juice will always be waiting for you after every land excursion.

Travel to the islands on the Treasure of Galapagos, and your cruise is sure to be one gem of an experience.
