Galapagos Odyssey

Altogether, the Galapagos Islands are known as the “Enchanted Isles.” While day tours and island-hopping programs can give you a good, overall introduction to some of the more easily reached islands, to explore those that are more far-flung, you’ll need to travel by boat. A tour on the powerful, twin-engine Galapagos Odyssey will get you to those more remote places and guarantee that you’ll get the most out of your limited time in one of the most special places on Earth.

Aboard this motor yachta vessel capable of a 12-knot cruising speed—you’ll get to the next island on your itinerary halfway through the night. In your comfortable, hotel-style room, you’ll awake refreshed and energized for a day full of unforgettable experiences in a brand-new place.

Thanks to the innovative design of this 16-passenger vessel, all eight, 215-square–foot, twin cabins are located in the quieter, upper front half of the yacht—not directly above or next to the engine room, which is located beneath the lounge and dining area. This ensures a good night’s sleep during the mainly overnight passages.

Each air-conditioned cabin has a panoramic picture window that can be opened to let in daylight, fresh air and stunning views. A roller blind can be adjusted for privacy or to shade out the sun. Even your private bathroom will have a bright, sea-view window with a blind. Your cabin also includes a closet with a small safe, a nightstand, a sofa, a minibar and drawers for luggage storage. If you’re a photographer, the small desk makes an ideal workspace to back up and select your shots.

Not only is the 134-foot-long Galapagos Odyssey outfitted with a spacious sundeck, it has two shaded terraces. One, located on the sundeck, has an inviting Jacuzzi on a foot-cooling, wooden surround; and the other sheltered terrace, on the upper deck, has an outside bar.

A large “living room” with a library can be found in the interior section of the main deck, as well as an elegant dining area with four, rectangular tables that circle a buffet bar. Meals are served after the ship has anchored and the engines have been turned off, promising a relaxing dinner.

The Enchanted Isles are mysterious and mesmerizing. Board the Galapagos Odyssey motor yacht, and maximize their magic.
