INTERNATIONAL GALÁPAGOS TOUR OPERATORS ASSOCIATION

Working together for a sustainable Galápagos

Kelsey Bradley

Kelsey Bradley

Board Member

After spending eight years living and working in Galápagos, primarily in the conservation realm, Kelsey is now the Managing Director – Galápagos at CNH Tours/Galapagos Travel. She brings a combination of on-the-ground conservation knowledge and community connection, in addition to professional fundraising and grant management experience.

Her Galápagos journey began as a volunteer at the original San Cristóbal hospital, and she was later invited to work as an intern at the Charles Darwin Research Station by the then Chief Economist. Her passion for the islands and their complexities was a big part of what led her to eventually manage and grow the organization’s fundraising department. When not in her office at the Station, she was often snorkeling, trail running with friends, or volunteering for field work in the islands whenever possibilities arose – being outdoors is always a preference for her.

Having built lasting relationships across the islands, Kelsey maintains close ties with members of the local community and cares deeply about balancing both the human and non-human needs of the archipelago. She continues to champion responsible tourism rooted in the long-standing conservation values and ethos of CNH Tours/Galapagos Travel, believing that thoughtful tourism can be a powerful force for protection when the environment’s benefit remains firmly at the center of key business decisions.

Kelsey holds a combined honours BA in Political Science and International Development from Dalhousie University and is now based in Ottawa, Canada, with her fiancé (whom she happened to meet in Galápagos).
