WildAid Receives $27,000 from IGTOA to Combat Invasive Species
In 2014, IGTOA will donate a total of $65,000 to four different organizations working to protect and preserve the Galapagos Islands. WildAid, which is spearheading a massive initiative to improve biosecurity in the Galapagos, will receive $27,000 to provide specialized training to biosecurity personnel and to fund a media campaign designed to educated visitors and Galapagos residents about the problem of invasive species.
