Guayaquil’s Jose Joaquin de Olmedo Airport will close its runway between November and early December 2007.

Closures will run from 1 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday on the following dates: Nov. 10-12, 17-19, 24-26, and Dec. 1-3. 

Domestic airlines will be operating at the Taura Air Base located outside Guayaquil.

Passengers will need to check-in at the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo Airport two hours before departure. Free shuttle service to the Taura Air Base will be provided by the airport. 

International flights will be operating only at the Quito’s Mariscal Sucre Airport on those dates.
