80 tour operators finish training in Galapagos
On September 27th the Galapagos Chamber of Tourism concluded with the Tourism Services Integral Training Program. This was part of the Sustainable Development for the Galapagos Productive Sectors Project-FOMIN II.
There are about 80 representatives of hotels, bars, restaurants, travel agencies, and transportation services who benefited with this training program. They represent 45 tourism businesses that will be positively impacted by this process.
The goal was preparing local residents about tourism services and to increase the hiring of qualified hand labor in Galapagos.
